COVID-19 Update – Monday 19/7/21

Dear Burneston Friends,

We hope that all of you and your loved ones are well and keeping safe.

Following the government’s revised COVID-19 guidelines announcement commencing 19th July, we would like to update you with our protocols at the practice. We will be continuing with our existing COVID protocols and patient journey beyond the 19th of July to help keep you and us safe. This will include our closed-door policy, social distancing measures and wearing face masks when attending the practice.

Please click on the below link to find out more about our patient journey:

PATIENT JOURNEY

We will continue to regularly review and update our patient journey accordingly on our website as the COVID-19 situation evolves.

We would like to reassure all our patients that there is currently no evidence to suggest that there is an increased risk to staff or patients of contracting COVID-19 from dental procedures. However, our COVID protocols will be in place for as long as necessary to give us all peace of mind.

For those of you who have visited us in recent months, you will be aware that each of our surgeries has been equipped with air purification and air extraction units to heighten the air quality and circulation.

We would like to remind all our patients that if you have an appointment booked and are experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms, please inform us at your earliest opportunity and do not attend the practice.

In addition to all our team members having received their COVID vaccinations we also enforce strict rules that any member of staff who has symptoms must self-isolate immediately. This also applies if a family member/ member of their household develops any symptoms.

We would like to wish all of you a lovely summer.

Your Burneston Dental Team.
