What does Invisalign treatment involve?

At your first visit we use the Itero Scanner to take a precise 3D digital scan of your teeth, allowing us to map out your customised treatment plan.

From the scan, a series of clear custom-made aligners are created, which gradually move your teeth to help to achieve your new smile. Aligners are thin, discreet and transparent plastic moulds that fit directly over your teeth (please see picture). They are easy to take out, so you can eat and brush as normal.

You will have regular review appointments, roughly every 6-8 weeks to check on your progress.

We sometimes combine Invisalign treatment with other dental treatments to help to achieve the desired outcome.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

This is case specific as each case involves different treatment steps. It could take only 6 months to complete the treatment or it could take longer. We will be able to give you a much better indication once we have seen you and have taken a scan of your teeth.

How much does it cost?

This depends on the complexity of the case. We will be able to establish this that once we have seen you for an Invisalign assessment.
